GitHub Sponsors Profile
I'm a software engineer in Silicon Valley, California. In my free time, I love to work on various open source projects to satisfy my intellectual curiosity, and occasionally others find these projects useful.
Since April 2021, I've been avidly contributing to Bevy, a data-oriented ECS based game engine, written in Rust, with a uncompromising focus on usability and performance. I've been personally focusing on:
CPU-side performance - Bevy, by default, should be as fast as the hardware allows. Users should not need to compromise usability or safety for performance.
Developer Experience - Bevy's developer experience should be intuitive, streamlined, and approachable.
Animation - Bevy's animation system and tooling should be best-in-class.
Reviewing other contributed code. The community comes up with ingenious ways of solving common game development problems all the time.
Separately from Bevy, I've developed quite a few game development tools like DanmakU, a data-oriented bullet hell library for Unity, and backroll-rs, a pure-Rust implementation of rollback netcode.
Sponsorship helps incentivize my continued work on these projects.
Thanks! ❤️
