Hey, I'm Jairus
I'm surprised you found this page... Since your here, I'll tell you a little bit about myself.
When I was 9, I picked up a book at my local library--a little odd since I usually read the likes of Rick Riordan, JK Rowling, and The Hardy Boys. Little did I know this seemingly boring book would change my life.
That book taught me to code.
Fast forward through elementary, middle, and high school--I learned a lot, but I had to lean on many other developers to help, mentor, and guide me to where I am today. I'd wake up at ungodly hours because I finally figured out how to fix that bug, and between school and activities, I spent countless hours putting my imagination down in code.
I figured that one way for me to give back to the community was to write libraries for the AssemblyScript Language I was really surprised when a few people started showing interest in a few of the libraries I had written--even a few small startups.
Now, I work at Hypermode AI and Steer Protocol--two startups that use my libraries extensively. On my time off, I still and always will spend time making FOSS a reality.
