I'd like all your data to be accessible to you. For example, ever wanted to find something you read or watched a week ago? A year ago?
Data interop is important. Consider:

You should be able to do what you want with your data.
You should not lose access to your data, ever.

What if in 5 years your favorite note-taking app is out of business? What if you get locked out of your cloud email account?
I'd like to solve the problem of increasing vendor lock-in at the consumer level. Businesses are fine, good tools exist, but for individual users the landscape is much less promising.
