Hey! I'm Hunter, I'm from the United States.
I've been a backend engineer for several years now and worked professionally at a few different companies. I spend the majority of my time these days in golang and projects surrounding that. I'm fascinated by network-level programming in go and I'm always trying to find spots I could write a small package to improve writing in the language. Thankfully the standard library does most things elegantly but there are a few things like errors, and dynamic database batch inserting that I think could be improved upon. I'm looking for sponsorship mostly because I'd rather be programming for the community and not some corporation that pockets all of the profits. Ideally, I'd not need the money but unfortunately existing in this world is far from free and so currently I maintain a full-time job to handle expenses.
