My name is Hussain Abbasi and I have been writing and sharing code for work and personal project for over 9 years. I love to learn new things and create content that I can share with the community. I love building control libraries, code samples for documentations, contributing, and content to support my talks and blogs on intelliAbb.com. IntelliAbb.Xamarin.Controls is my most popular library available on NuGet with over 11K downloads. It is a library of Xamarin.Forms controls that are not currently available out of the box with Xamarin.Forms. The controls are built based on my projects and made available so others can benefit from my pain and efforts. Besides hnabbasi, I run intelliAbb to host my private repos and packaged libraries. Both accounts share OSS with the community.
Currently, I am working on my first major contribution to Xamarin.Forms for a brand new Segments control. I like to take risks and take on challenges, and this came out of a similar "suggestion" to contribute 😄
Besides online contributions, I also organize Xamarin and Flutter user groups in Houston area. We host monthly events, hackathons, DevFests, bootcamps, DevDays, etc. I am also part of the organizing team for Xamarin Developer Summit (2019 and beyond).
