Hi there,
It's Gökay (/gœcaj/).
I'm originally from Turkey and living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for the last couple of years with @luinlulu, my wife and Tigger, our handsome cat.
I mostly write stuff in JavaScript and Docker ecosystems, and trying to learn Rust when I have some free time. I also spend quite a lot of time on @GitHub and try to contribute to all kind of projects in every level possible. Sometimes it's changing a typo in the documentation, sometimes it's creating a feature or fixing a bug.
Plans
I'm still a huge fan of Ultima Online after 20+ years and playing it whenever I have a chance. Let's be honest, it's no more than couple of hours in a week, but enough to go back to that memory lane and enjoy the atmosphere. Why this is important? Because I'm working on a server emulator project for UO, written in Rust and JavaScript (most probably TypeScript but anyway). I'm planning to finish it in next decade somewhere, hopefully before its 25th b-day (September 24, 2022).
