GitHub Sponsors Profile
Functional Resonance is a community based organisation responsible for promoting the use of the Functional Resonance Analysis Method - FRAM, developed by Erik Hollnagel.
This methodology is for modeling complex socio-technical systems and has been used successfully to model, understand and improve healthcare, air traffic control, nuclear power plants, autonomous vehicles/robots and other high risk or high consequence systems.
The community has oversight of the FMV - FRAM Model Visualiser software, used to create and visualise FRAM models, and aims to guide further research and development on ways of quantifying the analysis of FRAM models to develop a consistent and repeatable approach to better understanding and improving our increasingly complex world, and is committed to results being publicly available to encourage further research and development that builds on previous work.
With this, the principles of open source software are fundamental, and sponsorship is an important way to support the ongoing maintenance and development of the software while making the results openly available to the wider community.
If you use our software to teach FRAM courses, or use it extensively in your work, please explore the sponsorship options to find an appropriate way to contribute to the project.
