AgenticSeek started as a side project, an attempt to build a local AI assistant inspired by JARVIS. It's grown far beyond that, but unlike most projects its size, it doesn't bring in any revenue, just stress.
That’s why I’ve recently stepped back from full-time development. I still review issues and PRs, but paid work has to come first. Sponsorship could help change that.

Time – Balancing AgenticSeek with other responsibilities limits development. Sponsorship gives me time to build new features and improve reliability.
Independence – No VC money, no corporate strings. Sponsorship keeps the project fully open-source and community-driven.
Finetuning – I’m planning a custom 7B model optimized for AgenticSeek via knowledge distillation. This requires compute power and APIs cost (to mass generate dataset) I can’t afford solo.

Basic Infrastructure – Even things like a proper domain are on hold, I stick with github page for now.
