Hi! 👋
I'm the author of Clojure for the Brave and True, a book that has introduced tens of thousands to Clojure. In April of 2022 I switched to consulting so that I can spend at least two days a week on on two ambitious projects to help the Clojure community:

Clojure Camp, a free, friendly community for beginners learning Clojure. We have bi-weekly zoom meetups and are building a study group matchmaking service
Donut, a single-page app framework designed to help indie hackers build their online business

Both of these projects have a huge potential to benefit the Clojure community in two key ways:

Clojure Camp can provide a clear entrypoint for the Clojure-curious. It's a warm and welcoming environment that's dedicated to helping people get started. That kind of environment helps nurture people of every background into long-term community involvement.
Donut can provide a coherent solution to the perennial problem of "how do I actually build something with Clojure?" Its focus on helping indie hackers gives it a clear value proposition that's distinct in our community, but also in the general programming landscape. Giving developers great tools to meet their goals will help them become invested in Clojure.

In addition to these, I've begun to create some Clojure materials again, including Babashka Babooka, an introductory tutorial for Babashka.
Your support gives me the resources I need to dedicate my time to these efforts, which I believe will help us all 😀
