Hello!
My name is Chris alias Flav or Flavius. A name given to me during game play many years ago. I loved it, it stuck and a decade later my business Flav Creations was born. I am an Indie developer, programmer, streamer, and gamer. I dream big, play hard and work even harder.
The availability of open source information and projects allow for learning. Sharing knowledge, experience, and support freely are some of what I believe to be the most important gifts in the world. I've had tons of fun over the many years learning from and contributing to open source projects and GitHub a platform for which I can give back and to help others.
Much of what I am currently working on revolves around live streaming or discord-interactive games. I am partial to Medieval Fantasy (my favorite monster is the slime). I am currently working on a couple projects, one of which is a stream interactive JRPG battle system.
On GitHub, I will be sharing most of my projects, just as so many others have shared with me. My passion is to learn, create, play, and share with the world. Whether it be stuff I work on for Roleplay Game Live, a stream interactive game I'm creating, a chat bot, or various other projects. I hope that we can enjoy the experience together and learn from hilarious mistakes and fascinating successes.
My Foundation
2008 changed me. I was bitten by a coding bug. I first got into script writing / programming through a virtual environment Second Life (SL) where I learned the Linden Scripting Language (LSL). LSL has very broad documentation and SL was full of amazing friendly and helpful people who were available to teach and support one another with knowledge and experiences of their own. A lot of the contributors in SL often gave out free lessons and their own scripts to learn from, I learned a great many things about programming and fell in love through this open and amazing environment. I started with combat systems and my creativity flourished. I wanted to learn more so eleven years later I earned a Computer Science degree with a focus in programming and here I am starting my own business all because of an open source environment.
