Hi, I'm Brian!
I work on a number of open source projects but spend most of my time (what little there is with two young kids 😅) as a core team member on Babel.
Babel sits at a really unique intersection: it helps developers across various types of projects to use the latest JavaScript features today, and its broad audience allows TC39 to gather feedback as it continues to evolve the language. Then comes all of the interesting things that come from running a project this large in the open.
Maintainability, sustainability, product/release management, stewardship, and so much more are things we discuss frequently that really don't amount to any code or pull requests.
I'm really proud of the work we did to produce preset-env, and most of it wasn't code-related.
I feel extremely fortunate to contribute to open source and to be honest, I rather you support amazingly talented people like @hzoo, @nicolo-ribaudo, and so many others... but if you're so inclined, I'd be deeply appreciative of any support! 🙏
