Born and raised in the US. When I'm not writing code or collaborating on projects I can be found in the Mountains or near the Ocean. I live for the melting pot where culture and ideas intersect.
I care most about impact, and lowering barriers within the tech community. My work reflects that by reducing dependency on tech giants, publishing information and resources, and the radical exploration of a potential future where the interests of FAANG don't come first.
My Work 👨‍🔧
Non-traditional doesn't quite capture the essence of my background. Other than to say, my choices are not uninformed or without purpose. If I cared about notoriety I'd crank out a few dozen React libs and call it a day. I prefer to do things "the hard way" to prove once-and-for-all that there is no such thing. Just an alternative path that lacks funding, exploration, information, and promotion.
Why Support 💸
The work I do is not sexy, does not lead to book deals, does not sell online courses, does not come with a team of public relations specialists to push adoption. I wouldn't ask for help if I didn't genuinely need it.
Standards can't be commoditized or monetized but a standards-based ecosystem is essential to the long-term sustainability of any Engineering discipline.
