Hello! Hei! Salvete omnes! ( のvの) c[_]
I'm a Norwegian MRI physicist working in a large hospital. One of my interests since 2007 has been the Colemak keyboard layout. I've made many contributions to it in the form of a "Big Bag of Keyboard Tricks" that contains info, modifications and improvements galore plus implementations for several software platforms.
One such implementation is the EPKL program for Windows, which contains many improvements on the old PKL program by Farkas Máté.
The BigBag XKB files for the Linux X.Org server are also popular.
I've even made BigBag TMK files for microcontrollers such as the USB-2-USB device created and sold by Hasu at GeekHack.
I've done this work for free, spending countless hours on improving keyboarding for people who don't own a programmable keyboard – and some who do. Getting some support for the many many hours I've contributed to the world of keyboard layouts and extensions would be great. Naturally, that will make me prioritize your support needs in return! Tools like EPKL, XKB and TMK are complex and scary but full of possibilities.
Should you wish to make a small donation only once, that'll be very welcome too! As I understand it, the only way to do that for now is to become a sponsor for the amount and then cancel the sponsorship after payment.
The new Big Bag pages can be found at dreymar.colemak.org
The old Big Bag is at the Colemak Forum
