I have been working with companies large and small on their caching infrastructure for many years. My background is a long history of infrastructure work surrounding databases and data storage, network services and load balancing. Services in the support of and software engineering.
Memcached is widely used critical infrastructure software, allowing companies to build products that would otherwise be impossible due to cost or slow data storage.
I've been involved in memcached for most of its life, keeping it updated in my spare time. Recently I have been working on it full time, supporting enterprises and writing code under Cache Forge LLC. I'm using GitHub Sponsors as a method for companies and individuals to contribute to memcached without an onerous business contract.
