I'm a senior software engineer/executive who is passionate about education. I'm currently focused on a couple of open source projects including Lotus Web Components and CodeStrap. Lotus Web Components is a microarchitecture for building web applications using native web components. It advocates a functional style, has a single dependency, and is ultra-lightweight. Lotus also supports server-side rendering and static site generation using Puppeteer. You can define server-side data loaders for Lotus's collection views, then minify and publish the output using a publish function. For more information check out our examples.
I'm also working on CodeStrap, which is a project that is dedicated to providing a path to prosperity for everyone through careers in software engineering. The project consists of an open source curriculum that will prepare students for a software apprenticeship.
