GitHub Sponsors Profile

LinuxGSM has introduced many gamers to the wonderful world of Linux, making it easy to host your own dedicated Linux game server.
If you find LinuxGSM useful please consider sponsoring me.
LinuxGSM is popular with gaming clans, communities, LAN, and e-Sports organisers because of its simplicity. There is no complex setup, infrastructure, or web interface required. It’s as simple as running one line of code to get started.
The Backstory
Back in 2012, I was managing clan websites, game servers, and Teamspeak servers. While at a LAN gaming event, I wanted to set up a Killing Floor game server, but I found it difficult and frustrating as there was a lack of simple tools, docs, and tutorials online. So I decided to create my own script.
Since then LinuxGSM has been steadily growing with new servers, features, and improvements added regularly.
With over 10 years of development, the project is still growing. I continue to develop and support LinuxGSM alongside all the volunteers who also give their time to the project. It is truly a pleasure to contribute in my own small way towards both the gaming and open-source communities.
What else do I do?
In the spirit of open source, I regularly contribute to various projects by submitting pull requests and raising issues as I come across them. I recently started work on a game server query tool https://ismygameserver.online that allows game server admins to check their server is up and running. I am also currently developing a number Ansible roles.
Why Sponsor me?
Open Source is a passion of mine that I and many others enjoy contributing our time to. Sponsoring developers really does make a difference by helping cover costs, paying the bills, and rewarding our hard work and dedication.
