Hi, I'm David, I'm a maintainer of a couple of high impact open source projects. If sponsorships can pay my living expenses, then I can dedicate my effort full-time to improving these projects

I've been a maintainer of AnkiDroid since early 2020. AnkiDroid is used by millions of people worldwide, typically by med students and language learners.
I built and maintain the corpus data/search engine for the Manx Language. This is the largest online resource for Manx language texts and plays a vital role in teaching and revitalising the language.

My current level of sponsorships doesn't cover my rent, and therefore I can't dedicate as much time as I'd like to these projects. There's thousands of hours of work which I want to put in to make the projects better, and any sponsorship here enables me to spend more time making these apps and tools better for the community.
The closer I get to paying my living expenses, the more time I can dedicate to open source. It'd be a dream to do this full-time in a sustainable manner.
