I live in the UK and have been launching high altitude balloons since 2011. I write software for the balloon trackers themselves, primarily using C or Python, and for ground-based receivers, primarily using Delphi or Python or C.
Balloon software includes FlexTrak, Pi In The Sky and other programs.
Ground-based software includes HAB Base for home use, and HAB Explora and HAB PADD for mobile use.
Donations help me keep those applications current; mobile development in particular is ever-changing and requires considerable expenditure to keep up to date. Whilst such donations won't ever cover those costs, they do make me feel that the time and effort is worthwhile!
