What I'm working on
I'm working on cachegrand, a fast and modern open source Key-Value store built for today's hardware! cachegrand offers the Redis interface to access and manage the data providing insane speeds, up to 5mln GET QPS and 4.5 SET QPS, with batching up to 60 mln GET QPS and up to 27 mln SET QPS!

The open source community gave me a lot and cachegrand is my way to give back! I also hate to see wasted resources so I set my mind in stone and cachegrand has to be the fastest Key-Value store out there (and so far it's going the right direction)!

I have a full time job. All my contributions are done in my free time, usually I end-up working till 2 am (GMT+1). Sponsorship helps me cover some bills and open the door to buy the hardware (so far I have invested more than 15.000 euro to buy the current benchmark and test lab and I am planning to spend another 10.000 euro in the next 12 months to bui some 2 x AMD EPYC 7551 + 512GB ram @ 2400mhz + 8 Intel P4610 NVMEs servers and a server with 1 x AMD EPYC 7543 + 256GB ram @3200mhz + Memblaze NVMEs)
