I'm building supplemental Node & NextJS packages for Shopify app development.
I built and maintain the shopify-nextjs-toolbox which is a set of middleware & components that enable a NextJS project to integrate with the new OAuth + Session Token (JWT) authentication scheme for Shopify Apps. No koa or express server required!
This new NextJS only approach means there's no need for a custom server on top of NextJS. This means your development environment refresh rate is much faster, you can iterate more quickly and as a bonus you can deploy to Vercel.
