Hi! My name is James Deal and I'm a full stack developer. Working on open source projects in my free time as I currently work full time. Most recently working on gen-napi and shumai.
Having been inspired by, and largely developing for, Bun, I've been focused on the interoperability of Javascript/Node.js and Native code as of late. My latest project, gen-napi aims to provide an easy, opinionated, means of generating high performance NAPI bindings for existing C++ libraries. It's not yet stable, but is working to generate high performance NAPI bindings for shumai at present.
