Why Support Me?
I create software for other engineers, build culture, and organize communities. But foundational to all of that, is the most important thing that I do: exist. Existence is resistance, and my particular existence is revolutionary. Me being here, and being visible, is already changing the world in a meaningful way. And in the meantime, I'll make a ton of software 🛠!
Crowdfunding for me has always been about establishing and stabilizing systems of social support. I'm a established software engineer, so I don't need the $$$. I'm a QTPoC with chronic mental and physical conditions, so I absolutely need the support. The world is dark and full of terrors, and supporting each other grows the light and makes us all stronger. For other marginalized people: let's help each other out so we can all become stronger 💪! For privileged people: grow the light in the world 💖.
