My name is Christopher Kodama, currently work as an engineer in the DoD. I am an electrical engineer who likes to program on the side.
I really enjoy process improvement. If I come across a task or process in my day-to-day life that is repetitive or cumbersome, I like to develop a solution to make those tasks easier for myself.
Usually, those solutions take longer to develop than any net time savings I get from implementing the solution. That's ok though, I'm usually learning something new along the way, like a new language or framework, so it's not a complete waste of time. And plus, if my solution ends up working, I can open-source it for it to be useful for other people.
