I left a 10+ year career in creative production after falling into a path as
a software engineer, one that took off so quickly I didn't have time to look
back. I love to apply creativity to my engineering approach, polished off
with my pursuit of building an inventory of best practices.

Coming from artistic communities, I was immediately enthralled by the idea
of open source and its effect on technology advancement and accessibility. I
have been able to contribute to large communities like Eslint, Homebrew, VS
Code, Jest, Cypress, and Octokit, as well as developing and maintaining my
own open source projects.

I work full time as a father to my two children, and also as a professional
software engineer, but any extra time I'm able to scrap together is always
poured into continuing to push my passion for open source forward.
