I've been working with CFML since 1997, initially at a UK University where I helped develop an award-winning in-house virtual learning environment based on the then Allaire Cold Fusion.
In 2001 I set up my own tiny web development business based in London which I now run with my brother.
In 2014 we switched from Adobe ColdFusion to the open source Railo CFML engine, which morphed the following year into Lucee. Finding spreadsheet support in Lucee lacking I developed a new standalone library based on an existing open source Railo extension.
Over the years I've refined and significantly expanded the range of spreadsheet functionality the library supports, as well as making it compatible with Adobe ColdFusion. I've also kept it up to date with new Apache POI releases and other java library dependencies.
Spreadsheet-CFML is now widely used in the CFML community and sponsoring me helps ensure it continues to be maintained and developed.
