Hi 👋 I'm a software developer working on different HomeKit projects – ex. hc, hkcam. Besides that I love 3D printing. I've designed an enclosure for hkcam specifically for the Raspberry Pi Zero W, which everyone can use.
Even though I love working on my open source projects, it is often hard to justify the time that I need to maintain them. A lot of time goes into answering questions, fixing bugs and working on new features.
For example, I would like to make a new enclosure for the HomeKit camera. This requires designing a new 3D model and creating physical prototypes. This iteration process takes a lot of time, because every small change has to be tested with a printout on my 3D printer.
