Hi! I'm breadthe and I'm currently located in the US Midwest, around the Chicagoland area.
During the day I'm a full time PHP programmer, but at night I love to work on side projects. My favorite stack includes Laravel, Livewire, Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js. For static sites or JS-heavy stuff I prefer Svelte and SvelteKit. Sometimes I need to build cross-platform desktop apps that work offline and I have recently jumped on the Tauri train. Before Tauri I used Electron for the same.
How does your sponsorship help me?
I am a serial side-project starter. I have a ton of ideas but I discard them early in the prototyping stage if I feel they're not viable. The last week alone I started 4 new projects and abandoned 3.
I want to focus more on making free and open source tools that people actually use. Sponsoring those projects is a clear indicator that "this tool brings me value".
I'd love to work full time on open source tools and apps but with a full time job I only get a few hours a week. It would be nice to focus on work that people value.
