besties is a developer collective making open source apps and services. We host a popular Forgejo instance at git.gay, a static website host at pages.gay, and more.
Our goal is to provide spaces and tools for everyone, free of cost- But, unfortunately, these services aren’t free to operate, and take significant time to maintain. As our services grow, the costs only rise. Paying these costs entirely out of pocket won’t always be sustainable, and to ensure that we can provide our services for the public we need funding.
