Hey all,
I'm Arjan, owner of Asgard Sings!, and love to do karaoke!
With Asgard Sings! I travel around the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark to provide events with a karaoke service. People can request songs, I put them into the software and then they go sing along with the lyrics shown on the screen. I have all the equipment and knowledge on how to setup a stage, lights, audio and plugging everything together to give the people a nice karaoke show!
The software used for the karaoke is Performous and I have been contributing and managing the project ever since late 2014.
Aside from the karaoke I'm a fullstack software engineer at Guide-ID. I've started working there in december 2020 and mainly focussed on improving the infrastructure and get everything up and running in the Azure cloud on Kubernetes. The stack we use is C#, .NET core, MSSQL and Kubernetes. For my work I usually find myself on several Microsoft repositories filing issues, asking questions and reporting bugs as they arise when we work on the microsoft stack.
