I've been involved in writing open source software for over 10 years now - if you've every played a multiplayer Source engine game you've probably interacted with something I've developed, and if you've ever run a server for one of those games you almost definitely have. It is hard work keeping everything ticking along (and I couldn't do it without the generous help from my co-contributors), but that'll never stop me from experimenting with new ideas and trying to provide interesting projects to the communities I'm involved with.
