I largely focus on developing geospatial software and associated applications. I'm one of the founders of the go-spatial organization and core developers of the Mapbox Vector Tile server Tegola. Additionally, I work with large public datasets, typically targeting real estate, land use, permitting and demographics. I often find that the necessary API clients and tooling for interfacing with Government systems are sparse so I open source the tooling I use to ingest these datasets.
Another passion of mine is ETL (Extract Transform and Load) pipelines for GIS data. I have developed these pipelines on various cloud providers many times over internally and for private organizations. I have ideas on how to simplify geospatial ETL pipelines and eventually hope to opensource some of the tooling.
