GitHub Sponsors Profile
Hi all!
My name is Ander Biguri and I am a researcher in tomography, most notably of Computed Tomography (CT).
While I currently get employed by this or that research project (academic life....), one of the main things I do here in Github is maintain and develop the TIGRE toolbox, a toolbox for iterative CBCT reconstruction, both for medical and industrial/scientific CT.
However, the maintaining of the TIGRE toolbox is something I do in my free time, and I would love to be able to take more time to work on it. Getting sponsored for it will make sure that I have some funding to be able to work on this open source project, instead of focusing my energy on other things that may ensure my future employment.
I always try have user-driven development, most of the features of TIGRE are there because someone asked for them, and I would definitely want to keep this approach going into the future.
