👨‍🎨 As a contemporary artist working with sound and digital mediums, my passion lies in exploring the intersection between technology and art. My preferred environment for experimentation and audiovisual creation is openFrameworks. Over the years, I have built several open-source libraries and addons for openFrameworks and Processing in the creative coding community.
👨‍🏫 Alongside my artistic pursuits, I have been teaching creative coding, sound design, and generative art classes at Özyeğin University since 2015. Teaching has been a rewarding experience for me, and I have found joy in sharing my knowledge with my students. I believe that knowledge should be shared with the community, and through my open-source contributions and teaching, I strive to give back to the creative coding community that has given me so much.
🔥 My motivation for creating open-source applications is driven by my desire to supply the community with the tools and resources they need to create freely and express themselves creatively. Each day, I learn something new from great people I have not seen before, and it is my way of saying thanks for their contributions. Recently, I have been working on developing a specialized library for novice design students that will enhance their textual programming skills and inspire them to use computational thinking as an alternative approach to solving their design problems.
