The purpose of AliceVision is to democratize the technologies of 3D digitization from photographs. We consider these technologies to be essential for many applications for the common good, particularly for culture and artistic creation.
Our mission is to carry out the following scientific and educational actions:

to promote the development of free computer vision software, respectful of open standards, that can be used or modified freely by all
to promote access to knowledge and research data
to promote open and reproducible research allowing the results to be tested and verified in a transparent manner
to promote these technologies to industry, research, education and the general public

The sponsorship funds will be used to maintain AliceVision open source projects, to improve performances and quality of the results, to implement new functionalities, and hopefully to provide better support and documentation.
