Hi I'm Achronite born and living in Yorkshire, UK.
I work on Home Automation solutions, and I am the author of a number of repositories for the energenie ENER314-RT board for Raspberry Pi written in C, node.js and node-red. The board allows local control and monitoring of energenie smart home devices without the need for a MiHome Hub. I have performed all of this work to date without any help from energenie.
I'm currently building a standalone node.js application that exposes the ENER314-RT via MQTT for servers such as Home Assistant.
